Dear 2020 Central Piedmont Junior Livestock Show & Sale Exhibitors and Families,
The Show & Sale Committee has been actively monitoring the situation concerning Coronavirus (COVID-19). As our show involves schools, Cooperative Extension staff, and the general public, we have been taking into consideration all policies and executive orders impacting our show. With that in mind, Show Committee Chairmen Vaughn Compton and Tyrone Fisher (Orange County Extension Director) have made the executive decision on behalf of the committee to cancel the 2020 show effective immediately. We apologize for any inconvenience to exhibitors and their families. We were looking forward to celebrating the 75th year of our show but will have to wait until 2021 to celebrate this important milestone.
If you indicated on your registration form that you intended to sell your animal at this show, we will be contacting you soon to share our alternative plan for selling your animal to the packer. We will still facilitate this process for you. Stay tuned for a date and time for drop off. Again, only those exhibitors that indicated on their registration forms that they intended to sell their animal at this show will be contacted.
We wish you and your family the very best during this challenging time. We hope to see you at the 2021 show.
