This conference is an excellent opportunity to receive updates on the cattle industry, learn new management practices, and visit with other cattle producers in the area.

Guest speaker Dr. Wes Watson, Professor of Entomology & Plant Pathology, Extension Livestock and Poultry Specialist, and NC State Medical and Veterinary Entomologist will be speaking about fire ant control in forages. Bruce Shankle, Mid-Atlantic Cattle Sales field representative, will be speaking about marketing cattle, and updates will be given about the Veterinary Feed Directive Antibiotic Rule.
