The North Carolina Muscadine Grape Association is hosting the annual NC Muscadine Grape Conference March 11 -12, 2022. Vineyard and winery tours on Friday will highlight local growers. The main conference, with educational presentations and exhibitors, will be held Saturday at the Southeast NC Agricultural Events Center, 1027 US Hwy 74 East, Lumberton NC, 28358.
Friday, March 11 (10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.): Vineyard & Winery TourThe tour visits Charlie T Locklear Vineyard & Winery in Maxton and Cypress Bend Vineyards in Wagram. Includes tours of both vineyards and wineries, choice of intensive sessions on pruning & vine management, winemaking, judging, and winery managment. Includes wine tastings, lunch and dinner Registration for this tour is limited.
