Chatham County 4-H needs willing adult volunteers to help make an impact on our youth! We would love to have more clubs for our community, so whether you have an interest/skill or just want to volunteer, come learn more about volunteering with 4-H at one of our interest meeting!

4-H is the largest youth organization in the United States best identified by its green four-leaf clover with an H on each leaf. The four H’s on the emblem stand for Head, Heart, Hands, and Health. Any youth ages 5-18 can participate in different clubs, activities, programs, and other great opportunities through 4-H, but it could not happen without adult volunteers. There are many ways to volunteer, including volunteering short-term in special interest programs or a trip chaperone, or longer-term volunteering such as leading a traditional club. Whether you are more hands-on or behind the scenes, Chatham County 4-H has something for you! If you are 18 or older, you could qualify to be an adult volunteer with Chatham County 4-H.

At this interest meeting, you will learn more about Chatham 4-H, what it means to be a volunteer, how to apply, how you can be involved, and what we want for the future! If you are interested please register through Eventbrite. Registration is not required but is appreciated, drop-ins are welcomed.

We have two interest meetings scheduled to provide flexibility to your schedule. You only need to attend one meeting. Meetings will be held at the Chatham County Ag Center (1192 US 64W Business, Suite 400, Pittsboro, NC):

Saturday, January 27th: 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.

Tuesday, January 30th: 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.
