Developing Personal Risk Management Plans Workshop 2022

(Updated: May 11, 2022, 12:10 p.m.)

In 2014 and 2017, local farmers had the opportunity to learn how to understand and implement farm business planning principles for successful risk management decision-making.  In 2022, farmers will have another opportunity to learn more about these risks and develop their personal risk management plans by attending a series of Developing Marketing Plans and Strategies Workshops.

The presenters for the workshops will be Dr. Laurence Crane of National Crop Insurance Services and Dr. Albert Essel, Executive Administrator, Association of 1890 Extension Administrators. Local Extension educators will also participate and will provide assistance to the producers on an individual basis to help with the homework assignments and ensure they are completed.

Space is limited to 40 participants. Registration ends May 20, 2022. To register use the following link:  https://go.ncsu.edu/riskmangementplans.

There will be two different dates to choose from. Trainings will be held May 23 at N.C. Cooperative Extension, Robeson County Center, or May 24 at N.C. Cooperative Extension, Duplin County Center.  Lunch will be provided for all participants.
