2022 Rain Barrel Workshop

(Updated: Jan. 6, 2022, 11:13 a.m.)

Is your water bill costing you more than you like to pay? Would you like to recycle the rainwater that freely falls in your landscape? Have you priced the cost of rain barrels lately? If you said yes to any of these, this workshop is definitely for you!  You will assemble and take home your very own 55-gallon rain barrel in this hands-on workshop, hosted by the Extension Master Gardener Volunteers from North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Robeson County Center.

There is a $55 fee for this class, which covers all needed materials and is less than what prefabricated rain barrels cost. You will pay the day of class, so please arrive a few minutes early.  Cash, check, or money order will be accepted; we do not accept credit or debit cards.  Please have the exact amount for cash payments as we will not be able to provide change. Checks or money orders should be made payable to Robeson County Extension Master Gardeners.

Space is limited to 20 participants and registration is required by Wednesday, January 26.  You can register at the following link:  https://forms.gle/Um6azdetVscVf2zH6.

For more information or to register, contact Mack Johnson, Extension Horticultural Agent, at 910-671-3276 or mack_johnson@ncsu.edu.

Accommodation requests related to a disability should be made by January 19 to Mack Johnson.
