MAKE & TAKE TWO WORM BINS WITH BEDDING
AND COMPOSTING WORMS
Earthworm castings are literally called "Black Gold" because it is so beneficial to plants. It's absolutely loaded with easily available nutrients. You can have your own gold maker at your home with a container and some composting worms. They will turn your kitchen vegetable scraps, coffee grounds, and peelings into a plant super amendment.
The cost is $35 and covers all needed materials. You will make two worm friendly containers (two needed to alternate), some bedding, and receive composting worms to get you started. The fee must be paid and received in the office by September 3, 2025 to confirm your registration. Check, or money order will be accepted; we do not accept credit or debit cards. Checks or money orders should be made payable to Robeson County Extension.
