North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University is asking for NC small farmer participation in a Virtual Workshop for Small Farmers in North Carolina on December 10th at 6:30 p.m.  Farmers will receive a $25 Target gift card for attendance.  The workshop is a component of our Evans-Allen project entitled: "The Economics of Expanding Specialty Crop Production in North Carolina for Small and Socially-Disadvantaged Farmers." The researchers of the project are Dr. Obed Quaicoe, Dr. Kenrett Jefferson-Moore, and myself. The workshop will address issues that farmers in NC face, value-added consumer questionnaire feedback, specialty crop focus group data, and current research information/opportunities.
